  • "6 words - 6 seconds" - the time it takes to drive by and take in your message. Remember it is not a magazine advertisement.

  • Less words = Bigger copy = More impact

  • When designing your poster on a Mac 18" from you - Make your Logo Big and Bold - visible from 10m to 30m.

  • Keep It Simple and use strong contrasting colours e.g. Black on Yellow stands out well.

  • Colour background - add a picture - attract interest. 

  • Have a Call to Action - Attention Grabbing Offer - Special Price - Compelling Benefits to the customer - Humour - Clever use of words. Make it memorable.

  • Change the design often.

  • Location is important - but more important is great design - consider employing a professional designer* to make your investment effective - *I can recommend
